Cut the white root part of the fresh garlic into three or four pieces and set aside the green part. After peeling the dried garlic, we cut it into three or four pieces. Wash the dill and set aside to dry. After adding three tablespoons of olive oil into a medium-sized steel pot, we put the pot on the stove. We added the onion, which we chopped into small cubes, into the slightly warmed olive oil and started to roast. When the onions turned pink, we added the peas and continued to stir. When the peas and onions were mixed, we made a round hole in the middle of the pot with a wooden spoon. We twisted and rolled the dill, which we had previously washed and left to dry, with our hands and placed it in the hole we made in the center of the pot. We sprinkled the garlic we had prepared on it. We added two cups of water and salt and closed the lid of the pot. We cooked it for 45 minutes on average. Ecmel’s pea dish is ready!
